Since 2003, KC's Automotive Specialists was born out of James Smith's dream of owning his own business. Since its inception, we have been committed to creating a family-oriented atmosphere for both our customers and our team. James, who had been a technician since 1994, was deeply passionate about the automotive industry, restoring old cars, and worked tirelessly to make KC’s Automotive the success it is today. He graduated from Nashville Auto Diesel College in 1996 and became an ASE Master Technician, earning numerous other certifications throughout his career.

James passed away in 2021, but his legacy continues through the business he built with his wife Kelly and daughter Kaitlyn. Today, the shop is managed by his family, alongside a dedicated team of skilled technicians. We also have our talented and knowledgeable general manager, who are all working together to continue to provide automotive care solutions to our community.
